FAQ
Common Questions
What types of AI agents does XPndAI build in India?
Six types: (1) Document AI agents — extract GST invoices, contracts, bank statements with GSTIN/HSN/IGST; (2) Voice AI agents — Hindi/Hinglish outbound calls via Exotel/Plivo; (3) LangGraph back-office agents — multi-step ERP update workflows; (4) RAG knowledge base agents — ask-your-documents over internal knowledge bases; (5) Customer service agents — WhatsApp Business API bots; (6) ERP integration agents — natural language → Tally / Zoho / SAP commands.
How is XPndAI different from other AI agent companies in India?
Three things: First, we go deeper on Indian integrations — production code against Tally ODBC, GSTIN validation APIs, Exotel webhooks, Razorpay reconciliation — not generic REST connectors. Second, we use LangGraph for stateful multi-agent orchestration, which is significantly more robust for production workflows than LangChain alone. Third, we deliver a working prototype in 2 weeks — you see running code before committing to the full build.
Can the AI agents work in Hindi and regional languages?
Yes. Voice AI: Hindi, Hinglish (code-switching between Hindi and English in a single utterance — which is how real Indian users speak), Tamil, Telugu, Marathi using Exotel/Plivo + Sarvam AI or Google STT. Document AI: Hindi-language PDFs, invoices from regional businesses, Devanagari text extraction. Chatbots: Hindi via GPT-4o with Hindi system prompts, and regional language support via fine-tuned models.
Do you use LangGraph or LangChain? What is the difference?
We use both, but LangGraph is our default for production agents. LangChain provides the component primitives (prompt templates, LLM calls, tool calling). LangGraph adds a directed graph execution model on top — meaning agents can loop, branch based on conditions, maintain state across steps, and run parallel sub-tasks. For real enterprise workflows like "read email → extract invoice → check against PO in SAP → post if matched, else route to approval" you need LangGraph's stateful architecture, not a simple LangChain chain.
How does XPndAI compare to Appinventiv, eSparkBiz, Emvigo, and LeewayHertz for AI agent development?
Appinventiv (Noida, 1,600+ team) is best for large enterprise-scale AI agent deployments with CrewAI and LangGraph, but minimum engagements are typically ₹50L+. eSparkBiz is well-suited for startups and SMEs needing fast deployment of customer support or workflow automation agents. Emvigo and DreamzTech Solutions focus on cloud-native business process automation — strong for digital transformation projects. LeewayHertz specialises in RAG architectures and generative AI tools for knowledge-heavy industries. Softweb Solutions and Kanerika build enterprise-grade agents directly connected to CRM and ERP databases. XPndAI sits at the intersection: India-specific integrations (GSTIN, Exotel, Tally, 99acres), Hindi/Hinglish voice AI, production LangGraph architecture, and 2-week prototype delivery before full commitment — without the minimum-spend floor of larger firms.
